![]() ![]() Be careful though, this can strip nylon gears over a short period of time, recommend cast gears before going 11.1v. 1) use 11.1v batteries over 7.4v, should increase your rps by 30-50%. RPS, a higher rate of fire or rounds per second can increase your hit rate, doesn’t really do much for accuracy but I’ll throw it in here anyway. Under 250, upgrade you blaster to do more than 250 then use aka extremes (not aka sub 300 or the orange aka’s, only the black aka packet that doesn’t say aka on the top left corner as those are the sub 300) any decently priced set of gels should do, as long as they’re not too heavy of gels for your blaster as they’ll just act slower in less powerful builds)ħ. Cheap gels won’t help you with accuracy, I would recommend aka extreme to any build doing over 250fps. As mentioned in 1., gel diameter are very important on accuracy, getting good gels is vital for this. Look up a good YouTube vid on how to check your seals.Ħ. Sometimes just lubing seals is not enough, and new orings or entirely new parts are needed to get good seals. Make sure all the seals in your blaster and sealed and stay that way throughout the shot cycle. (Try and account spread in this aswell, but mostly you’re looking for the correct flight curve and spread will follow)ĥ. All hopups (besides fixed hopups like the nadda3d) have adjustments and need adjusting, tighten until the gels shoot out the barrel and fly straight for the longest distance, too tight and they curve upwards rapidly, too loose and they fire and drop. If you’re using a tac toys 3d printed hopup, please for both our sakes throw it in the bin ASAP!Ĥ. ![]() The hopups I recommend are, 1), Aztech hellfire (absolute best but expensive) 2) aka metal hopup (great mid priced) 3) rizer (just cheaper than the aka and not as good). Buy more cylinders rather than drill holes in the cylinder you already have.ģ. ![]() Sadly with gel blasting you cannot calculate it very well as gels are all different, but some airsoft calculators will give you a rough idea and it’s trial and error from there. To a beginner, it just looks like you’re loosing air pressure, but when over-pressured, the air just passes by the gel and destabilises the trajectory, giving bad aim, search it up to learn more. (This is called porting, specifically a 70-80% ported cylinder) for a longer barrel, more %, shorter barrel, less %. To get correct voluming, with a 350mm long inner barrel (a normal barrel length), you’ll need the hole around 70-80% up the cylinder. Very hard to master airsoft/gel blasting concept but highly effective when used properly. Get an alloy or polished steel tight-bore barrel, around 7.25-7.3mm id is best for the best gels like ultra elites or aka’s.Ģ. ![]()
